Never put red with white! 🌈

One pink shirt in the white pile = ruined towels! Sort BEFORE washing, treat stains BEFORE the machine. These two habits save EVERY laundry day:

  • ⚪Whites only — together alwaysWhite shirts, sheets, towels. Bleach OK if allowed.
  • ⚫Darks (black, navy, dark)Cold water. Inside-out. Keeps colors deep.
  • 🌈Bright colors togetherReds, pinks, yellows. Cold water. NEW clothes wash alone first time!
  • 👶Baby clothes — separate, mild soapNo bleach! Baby skin is sensitive.
  • 🧶Delicates: hand wash or delicate cycleSilk, lace, wool, embroidered abayas. NEVER hot water.
  • 🍅Stains: COLD rinse + dish soap rubTomato, oil, ink, blood — treat now, not later. (Blood = COLD ONLY)

Use the machine right — clothes last 3x longer 🛡️

The wrong settings destroy fabric. Hot water on silk = ruined. Heavy spin on lace = torn. Match settings to fabric type — every load!

  • ⚖️Don't overload — 3/4 full maxClothes need space to move. Overload = dirty clothes & worn machine.
  • 🌡️Cold = colors safe & energy saveUse cold for darks, brights, delicates. Hot ONLY for whites & towels.
  • 🧴Detergent: less is moreHalf cap is usually enough. Too much soap = residue + skin irritation!

An iron is hot — burns skin in 1 second. Use the right temperature, the right technique, then fold so the closet looks like a luxury hotel!

  • 🌡️Match temperature to fabricSynthetic = LOW. Cotton = MED-HIGH. Linen = HIGH. Silk = LOW with cloth.
  • 👕Shirts: collar → sleeves → bodyAlways start with small/complex parts first. End with the easy big back.
