Before you start: India’s own rules decide who can come. The Gulf side is only half the process. India applies its own emigration rules to every one of the six GCC states, because all of them are ECR (Emigration Check Required) countries:

• Minimum age 30. No woman under 30 is granted Emigration Clearance for work in an ECR country. The UAE applies a 30–60 band at the time of application. This is the rule that most often stops a placement, and it is not negotiable by an agency.
• Recruitment route. For a woman on an ECR passport, domestic-worker recruitment runs through one of India’s nine state-run recruitment agencies — or directly by an employer registered on eMigrate, which requires a USD 2,500 security deposit.
• Minimum Referral Wage. The contract must pay at least India’s minimum referral wage for the occupation and destination, or emigration clearance is refused. The current figures are published per country on emigrate.gov.in — check them rather than relying on an agency’s quote.

If an agency offers you an Indian worker under 30, or a contract below the referral wage, the placement cannot clear emigration legally — whatever you are told.
