GCC Domestic has partnered with Jedda Star to launch Saudi Arabia's first all-female ride-hailing service powered entirely by electric vehicles. The service goes live in Jeddah in May 2026 and runs exclusively on WhatsApp and Telegram — no app required.

Why an all-female service matters in Saudi Arabia

Since the 2018 reforms allowing Saudi women to drive, demand for women-only ride-hailing has steadily grown. Many Saudi women still prefer female drivers — for comfort, for family preference, for cultural fit. Existing global platforms have tried filters, but the supply of women drivers has remained limited and inconsistent.
